Analysis of "A Room of One's Own"

The title "A Room of One's Own" was Virginia Woolf's answer to the question that was posed to her as a topic to speak about at a men's college. The specifics of the progress she took to come to this conclusion was her way to reveal how little women were allow the kind of privilege that men have had historically, examples like the bountiful luncheon given at the male university and how she was only allowed on the gravel not the turf. Woolf did not spend a lot of time repeating her point, instead she used examples to illustrate why the conclusion she came to was as it was.
